Elgen Staffing's client, a prestigious nationwide law firm, seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney – Associate to join its California team. This role focuses on defending mortgage servicing and foreclosure matters, with emphasis on civil litigation, requiring strong written and oral advocacy and the ability to manage a large caseload.

The position is remote, offers substantial compensation of $120,000 to $170,000 annually, and requires a JD from an accredited law school and active California

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active California Bar license.
• Ability to bill approximately 1,920 hours per year.
• Experience in real estate or mortgage servicing preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of litigation stemming from mortgage servicing and foreclosure matters.
• Manage pre-litigation cases and assist with clearing title to real property.
• Prepare case analyses and advise clients on strategy.
• Draft court pleadings and motions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
