Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an Associate Attorney, Litigation in Long Beach, CA for a full-time, fully remote role. The attorney will handle secured lending matters, civil and title litigation, and potential bankruptcy issues, collaborating with a dedicated team.

Required: active CA State Bar membership, JD, 2+ years mortgage-related experience, strong writing and research skills, and proficiency with MS Office and WestLaw/LexisNexis.

Qualifications

• Active CA State Bar membership in good standing.
• 2+ years of mortgage-related litigation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial intake and analysis on files, generating strategy and budget promptly.
• Draft civil litigation documents, including discovery and dispositive motions.
• Review chain of title, pleadings, and foreclosure documents.
• Make court appearances across California and provide same-day client updates.
• Field questions from staff and assist in a supportive manner.
• Write, review, and edit reports and correspondence for compliance purposes.
• Perform other duties as needed.
