Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in the United States and Canada seeks a Manager of Technical Service (Litho) to lead best-practice implementation and ensure alignment with strategic objectives across Lithographic printing departments within the Consumer division.

This is a work-from-home role with up to 75% travel to manufacturing facilities; you will mentor Printing Managers, drive improvements in revenue and cost efficiency, collaborate with Color Management, Prepress, Safety, and Quality teams, and partner

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical degree preferred.
• 5–10 years of Lithographic Printing experience.
• Foundational experience in Continuous Improvement.
• Strong coaching, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience training machine operators and Printing Managers, including troubleshooting Litho presses and prepress workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead best-practice Litho service across Consumer division facilities.
• Mentor Printing Managers and printing support teams in Litho operations.
• Drive revenue and cost improvements via waste reduction and process optimization.
• Provide litho best practices to Printing Manager community and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Collaborate with Color Management, Prepress, Safety, Quality, and Operational Excellence teams.
