Blue-Signal-Search is seeking an Account Executive (Lighting) to drive project-based lighting solutions in the AEC markets from a remote Louisiana base. You will cultivate relationships with architects, engineers, designers, and contractors, guiding specification decisions from concept to quote and order.

This role emphasizes technical lighting knowledge, presentation skills, and a consultative approach, with cross-functional collaboration and travel to meet clients.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years in lighting specification sales or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or LC certification preferred; lighting industry knowledge advantageous.
• Proficient with lighting design platforms and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, AGi32.

Responsibilities

• Grow and maintain relationships with architects, engineers, and specifiers to influence early design decisions.
• Deliver engaging presentations, virtual or in-person, showcasing lighting solutions.
• Develop and manage a robust pipeline from concept through quote and final order.
• Stay ahead of lighting trends and technologies to advise internal teams and partners.
• Collaborate with project managers and manufacturers to tailor lighting solutions.
• Own the sales process end-to-end from engagement to post-sale support.
• Foster a culture of excellence and client-first service.
