Lighting Design Sales Support

Our client, a distinguished leader in the lighting industry, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lighting Design Sales Support professional to join their team. This role plays a key part in assisting the sales team with technical lighting designs, project coordination, and customer support. The ideal candidate will have experience in the lighting or electrical industry and possess strong technical and communication skills to facilitate seamless collaboration across departments.

Focus:

  • Provide support to the sales team by preparing lighting design layouts and technical documentation.
  • Utilize industry software, including Bluebeam, AGI32, and AutoCAD, to create and modify lighting designs.
  • Assist in the development of proposals, presentations, and product recommendations based on project specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and project management, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Ensure the accuracy and relevance of project documentation, creative assets, and marketing resources by performing regular reviews and updates.
  • Conduct product research and stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely project completion.
  • Prepare reports and analyze data using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Skill Set:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent vocational training in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the lighting or electrical industry preferred.
  • Candidates must possess technical skills in specialized software applications, specifically Bluebeam, AGI32, and AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in utilizing the full range of productivity tools within the Microsoft ecosystem, including document editing, spreadsheet analysis, presentation design, and email management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience working in a sales or technical support role within the lighting or electrical industry.
  • Knowledge of lighting controls, energy-efficient solutions, and industry regulations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical assistance regarding lighting applications.
