Job summary

Bond Capital SIA is seeking an experienced Estimator (Lighting) for a fully remote, full-time role. You will review drawings and bid documents to identify lighting requirements and quantify materials, labor, and costs for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

You will build pricing models, analyze vendor quotes, and prepare concise bid proposals while coordinating with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or electrical estimating with focus on lighting systems, fixtures, and controls.
• Ability to interpret architectural, electrical, and engineering drawings and specs.
• Proficiency with estimating tools and spreadsheets; familiarity with takeoff software beneficial.
• Solid understanding of lighting products, energy codes, and installation practices.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
