Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Lighting estimating experience preferred.
• 1-2 years customer service in electrical/lighting industry preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Proficient in computer and Microsoft Office.
• Reliable, responsible, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate architectural and electrical drawings.
• Read and review lighting specifications.
• Foster relationships with project managers and outside sales reps.
• Interact with manufacturers and reps for pricing.
• Determine costs and maintain margins.
• Follow up on pricing with contractors.
• Compile and analyze vendor information.
• Ensure bid includes all requirements.
• Review terms and dating of purchase orders.
• Provide complete quotations within deadlines.
• Seek opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated with new product information and technologies.
