Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented Remote Lighting Artist to join a fully remote development team, bringing virtual worlds to life with lighting that sets mood, atmosphere, and storytelling across projects.

You will craft lighting for environments, characters, and cinematics, collaborate with art directors, and optimize for performance while keeping visual quality high in a distributed, autonomous work setting.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as Lighting Artist in the game industry with a portfolio.
  • Proficiency with lighting tools in major game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity.
  • Strong understanding of lighting principles, color theory, and composition.
  • Experience with PBR workflows and material creation.
  • Excellent communication and ability to thrive in a fully remote team environment.

Responsibilities

About the Role
