Job summary

Northern Star Pogo LLC is seeking an UGM Light Vehicle Mechanic to maintain underground and surface light vehicles, equipment, and related assets at the Delta Junction operation.

The role emphasizes diagnostic work, preventive maintenance, and safe, compliant practices within a multi-shift, remote-site environment. Candidates must have a driver’s license and be comfortable with on-site lodging and 12-hour days.

Qualifications

• Current Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Undertake diagnostic, breakdowns, follow-up work and PMs to a high standard of execution.
• Provide technical advice and support to fellow Maintenance Team members.
• Ensure workmanship through meeting standards and tolerances and testing of equipment prior to handover.
• Identify correct parts and equipment for all planned and unplanned jobs as necessary.
• Attend daily pre-start meetings to ensure effective communication.
• Provide written and verbal handover for incoming crews regarding maintenance plans and issues.
• Liaise closely with and maintain effective communication with Leading Hand, Underground Supervisors and other key Stakeholders to organise priority breakdowns.
