Job summary

Primal Queen is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own Email and SMS marketing, building and optimizing automations that nurture customers throughout their journey. You will collaborate with Growth, Creative, CX, Product, and CRO teams to craft compelling campaigns that educate, inspire, and convert.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, testing, and personalization to increase retention, subscription adoption, and customer lifetime value across a rapidly growing wellness brand.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Lifecycle Marketing or Email Marketing experience.
• Advanced experience with Klaviyo.
• Experience managing SMS marketing (Postscript preferred).
• Deep understanding of customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing.
• Experience building and optimizing automated customer journeys.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting retention metrics.
• Comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests.
• Strong copy instincts and understanding of consumer psychology.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale retention marketing across Email, SMS, subscriptions, and lifecycle initiatives.
• Build best-in-class customer journeys that increase retention, subscriptions, and lifetime value.
• Collaborate with Growth, Creative, Customer Experience, Product, CRO and Leadership to ensure on-brand interactions.
• Develop and optimize automated journeys (Welcome, Browse Abandonment, Cart Abandonment, Post Purchase, Cross-Sell, Subscription, Winback, Sunset).
• Implement a testing roadmap for subject lines, messaging, offers, send times, segmentation, personalization, creative, and landing pages.
• Analyze lifecycle performance and surface actionable insights to improve retention and customer experience.
