Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Business Development Director for our Life Sciences East Coast team. This role focuses on new business development in large accounts, partnering with senior client leaders to drive staffing and solutions across the biopharma lifecycle.

You will develop strategies, pricing, and multi‑site coordination while maintaining a remote work setup with time spent in local markets. A strong track record in Life Sciences sales and C‑level communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of Life Sciences staffing industry business development experience.
• Ability to articulate staffing and solutions across biopharma lifecycle.
• Proven ability to drive and close complex, high‑value projects.
• Professional experience in Life Sciences or related field required.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including C‑level presentations.
• Highly detail oriented with focus on quality and process improvements.
• Bachelor's degree required; additional education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business through outside sales activities.
• Target large-size accounts and manage senior client relationships.
• Develop and implement sales plans to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with management to set goals and pricing strategies.
• Ensure delivery success and client satisfaction across sites.
• Prospect and screen for qualified new business opportunities.
