Job summary

Viltis, a life sciences consulting firm, seeks an experienced Full-Desk Recruiter to join the team in a fully remote capacity. You will drive business development, manage client relationships, and oversee end-to-end recruiting across clinical, regulatory, quality, engineering, manufacturing, and scientific roles.

The role emphasizes sourcing top candidates, presenting professional summaries, and closing contracts.

Qualifications

• At least four years of full-desk recruiting experience.
• Demonstrated success developing new business, securing job orders, and placing candidates.
• Strong understanding of contract staffing and direct-hire recruitment.
• Familiarity with technical roles across clinical, regulatory, quality, engineering, manufacturing, and scientific functions.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, sourcing platforms, and recruiting databases.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client relationships and active searches simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business relationships with biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic companies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Proactively secure contract and direct-hire job opportunities.
• Partner with clients to understand their technical requirements, hiring objectives, and timelines.
• Source candidates through direct outreach, professional networks, job boards, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
• Screen and interview candidates to evaluate their qualifications and career goals.
• Present qualified candidates with clear, professional submission summaries.
• Manage the complete recruitment process from initial sourcing through offer negotiation, placement, and onboarding.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Keep accurate records within the company’s Applicant Tracking System.
• Monitor life sciences hiring trends and competitive market activity.
• Meet established business development, recruiting, and placement goals.
