Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. in the United States is seeking an Underwriter I to review and decide on smaller life insurance cases, using established guidelines to assess risk and approve within limits.

You'll work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm CST with potential flex time after training, and you can work remotely from the United States or Puerto Rico while communicating clearly with internal teams and brokers.

• Prioritize and manage a steady flow of back-to-back work in a high-production environment, balancing emails, incoming calls, and pending cases while demonstrating strong organizational skills, flexibility, and adaptability.
• Handle a limited number of daily phone calls, including risk assessment discussions and inquiries from brokers and internal partners.
• Participate in daily management activities and contribute to process improvements using current and emerging technologies.
