The Wood Agency Life is a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales role focused on helping families make informed money decisions. You will contact leads, assess finances, compare carriers, and guide clients through applications with accuracy and compliance.

This position values self-direction, a state life license (or plan to get licensed), and the ability to work without direct supervision, while staying compliant with licensing and disclosure requirements.

Qualifications

• Background in banking, lending, or credit union member service.
• Able to discuss money decisions carefully and precisely.
• Comfortable with forms, disclosures, and precise recordkeeping.
• Must hold a state life insurance license or plan to get licensed before first sale.

Responsibilities

• Contact people who have requested life insurance information and book appointments.
• Review each household's finances and obligations before discussing coverage.
• Explain how options differ across carriers, then complete the application together.
• Handle applications and disclosures accurately, because underwriting details matter.
• Track every open case through the carrier's review and keep clients informed.
• Log activity in the CRM and stay current with compliance training.
