The Wood Agency Life is seeking a remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales professional. You will meet by phone or video with families who have requested information, listen to their needs, explain coverage options clearly, and guide them through the application and underwriting process.

Training and mentorship are provided, with access to exclusive carrier options and lead systems. Applicants should have teaching, coaching, or school-based experience and possess a state life

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting.
• Ability to explain complex ideas clearly to families.

Responsibilities

• Meet by phone or video with people who already asked about life insurance.
• Listen to families’ situation, goals, and worries.
• Explain coverage options in plain language and complete the application together.
• Follow each application through underwriting and keep families informed.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM.
• Participate in ongoing training and product updates.
