Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an independent-life insurance sales professional for a 100% remote, 1099 role to help families who requested information. You will contact leads, assess finances, explain carrier options, and complete applications with care.

Responsibilities include accurate disclosures, tracking cases through underwriting, maintaining CRM records, and staying up to date with compliance training. Licensure is required or in progress.

Qualifications

Background in banking, lending, or credit union member service.
State life insurance license or plan to obtain before first sale.
Self-directed and able to plan your day and follow up.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Contact people who requested life insurance information and book appointments.
Review each household's finances and obligations before discussing coverage.
Explain how options differ across carriers and complete the application together.
Handle applications and disclosures accurately, as details matter to underwriting.
Track open cases through carrier review and keep clients informed.
Log activity in the CRM and complete compliance training.
