Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales professional in the United States. You will help families understand their options, explain coverage choices in plain language, and guide them through the application process from your home office.

Expect to work on your own schedule, handle appointments by phone or video, and stay up-to-date with products, carriers, and state regulations through ongoing training and mentorship from agency leaders.

Qualifications

• Must have or be in the process of obtaining a state life insurance license.
• Comfortable working from home and managing own schedule.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience with phone/video appointments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Call or video-chat with people who requested information about life insurance.
• Assess each household's situation and priorities before presenting options.
• Explain coverage choices clearly and complete the application with the client.
• Follow the application through underwriting and keep the family updated until a decision.
• Log conversations and next steps in the CRM as they happen.
• Engage in ongoing training on products, carriers, and state rules.
