Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is hiring for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role. You will manage your own pipeline, set appointments, and guide clients through discovery, options, and underwriting from home.

You'll have exclusive carrier contracts, curated leads, direct mentorship from Ben and Andrea, and a weekly team call with scripts and reviews to support success.

Qualifications

• Must have a state life license or plan to obtain one.
• Entrepreneurial, self-directed mindset with accountability.
• Comfortable using web-based tools and a CRM.
• Willing to work as an independent contractor (1099) nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own pipeline of people who requested information about life insurance.
• Set your own appointment schedule and hold calls by phone or video.
• Ask discovery questions, then walk through options and apply together.
• Own each case through underwriting and keep the client informed.
• Track activity and follow-ups in the CRM.
• Invest time in ongoing training and compliance.
