Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking self-starting individuals to run their own life insurance sales business. This 100% remote, 1099 role lets you serve families who’ve already expressed interest in coverage.

As an independent contractor, you’ll manage your own pipeline, schedule calls, guide clients through options and underwriting, and stay accountable for your own results. Training and compliance support are provided.

Qualifications

• State life insurance license or plan to get licensed before first sale.
• Experience running a business or freelancing
• Able to work remotely with web-based tools
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Trust is essential in client interactions

Responsibilities

• Manage your own pipeline of people who've requested life insurance information.
• Set your own appointment schedule and hold calls by phone or video.
• Ask discovery questions, then walk through suitable options and apply together.
• Own each case through underwriting, keeping the client informed.
• Track activity and follow-ups in the CRM.
• Invest time in ongoing training and compliance
