Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an independent contractor to conduct life insurance consultations remotely. You’ll call or video-chat with leads, assess family needs, explain options in plain language, and guide clients through the application process from your home office.

You’ll work with 43 carriers, access exclusive leads, and participate in ongoing training. This role is commission-based with no salary, and you decide your schedule while helping families protect their futures.

Qualifications

• Must have a state life insurance license or a plan to obtain one before first sale.
• Able to work remotely from home with a self-managed schedule.
• Willingness to operate as an independent contractor (1099).

Responsibilities

• Call or video-chat with leads who requested information.
• Assess households' needs before presenting options.
• Explain coverage choices clearly and assist with the application.
• Follow underwriting and keep families updated on decisions.
• Log conversations and next steps in the CRM.
• Engage in ongoing training on products, carriers, and state rules.
