Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking self-motivated individuals to sell life insurance remotely as independent contractors. You’ll manage a personal pipeline, schedule calls, and guide clients through discovery, options, and underwriting with mentorship from agency leadership.

Earn commissions based on production, with exclusive leads and carrier options to support your outreach and client service. Prior experience and licensing plans are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Experience running a business, freelancing, or working for yourself.
• Able to manage your own pipeline and schedule.
• Licensed or plan to become licensed for life insurance.
• Comfortable using web-based tools and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own pipeline of people who've requested life insurance information.
• Set your own appointment schedule and hold calls by phone or video.
• Ask discovery questions first, then walk through suitable options and apply together.
• Own each case through underwriting, keeping the client in the loop.
• Track your activity and follow-ups in the CRM.
• Invest time in ongoing training and compliance.
