Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking self-starting independent contractors to manage a remote life insurance sales pipeline for families across the United States. You will set your own schedule, conduct calls by phone or video, and guide clients from discovery to application with support and ongoing training.

Expect mentorship from Ben and Andrea, weekly team calls, scripts, and robust carrier options; licensing is required before selling. Compensation is 1099-based.

Qualifications

• Experience running a business, freelancing, or working for yourself.
• Comfortable being accountable for your own results and your own time.
• A state life insurance license, or a plan to get licensed before your first sale.
• At ease with web-based tools and a CRM.
• Straightforward with clients; trust is essential.
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own pipeline of people who've requested life insurance information.
• Set your own appointment schedule and hold calls by phone or video.
• Ask discovery questions, walk through options, and apply together.
• Own each case through underwriting, keeping the client informed.
• Track activity and follow-ups in the CRM.
• Invest time in ongoing training and compliance.
