Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Life Claims Analyst to support reviews, investigations, and adjudication of Life claims from initial receipt through final resolution. This National Remote role follows EST hours and includes a 2–3 month virtual training period from home.

As a full-time analyst, you will render determinations, maintain ERISA-compliant communications, and respond to inquiries within established timeframes while ensuring accurate decisions in line with policy and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years customer service experience in life insurance context.
• 2+ years processing life insurance claims from receipt to final resolution.
• Proficiency with computer and Windows applications; ability to learn new systems.
• Full-time role; EST business hours (7:00 am–6:00 pm) with possible overtime.

Responsibilities

• Review and render determinations on Life claims.
• Maintain communication within ERISA standards through review and investigation.
• Respond to inquiries within established service timeframes.
• Provide accurate claim decisions per policy, state and federal guidelines.
• Adjudicate Life claims with current weekly volumes.
