Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education/work experience.
• Knowledge of WoodmenLife products and Core Operations systems.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal/external stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Work well in a team and handle high concentration tasks.
• GLBA knowledge and regulatory awareness.
• Prefer 2+ years of claims processing experience in life/health.

Responsibilities

• Handle all administrative duties for Life and Health Claims.
• Compare and analyze death notifications against client systems; take action.
• Enter and code new deaths or health claims into systems.
• Mail claim paperwork and checks.
• Examine death or health claims on life and annuity certificates and cancer products.
• Review applications and documentation to ensure valid death and correct beneficiary.
• Perform ongoing workflow analysis to improve service levels.
• Communicate with claimants, beneficiaries, providers, and others to gather information.
