Job summary

Ameritas, head-quartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, is seeking an External Wholesaler for Life and Annuity products to enhance sales strategies and broker relationships across the USA. This is a remote role that supports brokers and internal partners to drive growth and persistency.

The position requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 4–7+ years of sales experience, and relevant designations (State Health & Life Insurance; FINRA Series 6/7 and 63/65 preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 4-7+ years of related sales experience.
• Strong aptitude for sales, leadership and coaching, and strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements profitable and persistent sales strategies to achieve team objectives.
• Develops and maintains relationships with external vendors.
• Oversees sales and promotions to identify new opportunities.
• Stays current with trends, products, and client needs to ensure alignment.
• Up and cross-sells ancillary products to new and in-force blocks of business.
• Develops and reviews short and long-term individual sales goals.
• Assists brokers with sales presentations and enrollments for new and existing business.
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders to process sold cases and service clients.
