Job summary

AmeriLife is seeking an Internal Insurance Strategist to discuss client needs and sell life insurance and annuities to clients and advisors within Crump's Financial Institutions channel. This is a fully remote role.

Responsibilities include discovery, driving sales, handling referrals, completing applications, and explaining product differences. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and Life/Health license with FINRA registrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience.
• Minimum 2 years direct life, long-term care and disability income insurance selling experience in the field directly with clients and/or 3+ years handling inside sales helping agents sell life insurance through a General Agency or insurance carrier platform.
• Active Life and Health Insurance license required; FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead clients through discovery, including personal or business needs and goals, current financial status, identify gaps and opportunities, and describe solutions including life, long term care and disability income insurance.
• Manage daily activities and drive sales activity and pending business.
• Handle incoming calls directly from referral sources, and be available for pre-set calls with clients and their Advisors.
• Complete insurance applications and follow cases through underwriting.
• Explain to clients and advisors how various insurance products work and their differences.
• See all sales activity through towards product purchase.
• Explain basics of estate planning, business planning, asset leveraging, and insurance planning (including 1035 exchanges).
