Job summary

PSI Services is seeking a Test Development Specialist for the remote-US market. You will oversee the full cycle of licensure and certification test development, including content, psychometrics, and client-facing activities, with occasional travel up to 25% for meetings and workshops.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, conducting job analyses, standard setting, and post-launch evaluation, while ensuring adherence to contractual requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in I/O psychology, measurement, education or related field (Ph.D. desirable).
• 3+ years of professional test development experience.
• Experience in Certification and/or Licensure testing.
• Experience with psychometrics and standard setting workshops.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAS/SPSS/SQL knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and maintain licensure/certification tests.
• Conduct job analyses via surveys and focus groups.
• Create test content specifications and item reviews.
• Facilitate development meetings on-site or virtually.
• Analyze items statistically and evaluate post-launch exams.
• Prepare technical reports on test development and psychometrics.
• Manage client projects to meet quality standards and timelines.
• Provide client-facing documentation of activities.
• Present at professional conferences and contribute to publications.
