Job summary

PSI Services is hiring a Test Development Specialist to handle the full cycle of licensure examination development, including content creation, psychometrics, and client-facing work. The position is full-time and remote in the US, with travel up to 25% for meetings and workshops.

The role requires a Master’s level or higher in related fields, several years of test development experience, and proficiency in psychometrics and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in I/O psychology, measurement, education or related area.
• 3+ years’ experience in professional test development.
• Experience with certification/licensure testing.
• Training and experience in psychometrics.
• Experience managing multiple project assignments, timelines and deliverables.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of SAS, SPSS and/or SQL.
• Experience facilitating standard setting or similar workshops.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and validate licensure and certification tests.
• Design and conduct job analysis studies (surveys, focus groups).
• Develop and update test content specifications.
• Review test items for written/performance exams.
• Lead item/exam development meetings on-site or virtual.
• Perform statistical analyses of items and examinations post-launch.
• Facilitate standard setting workshops and studies.
• Prepare reports on test development and psychometrics.
