Job summary

PSI Services is seeking a Test Development Specialist to lead the full cycle of licensure examination development, including content, analyses and psychometrics. This client-facing role requires collaboration with clients to translate requirements into valid assessments.

The position is full-time and can be performed remotely with some travel up to 25% for workshops and meetings. A Master’s degree in a related field and 3+ years in test development are expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree level in I/O psychology, measurement or related area; Ph.D. desirable.
• 3+ years’ experience in professional test development.
• Testing experience in Certification and/or Licensure.
• Training and experience in psychometrics.
• Experience managing multiple projects with timelines and deliverables.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; SAS/SPSS/SQL preferred.
• Experience facilitating standard setting or similar client workshops.

Responsibilities

• Performs assignments for construction, maintenance and validation of licensure/certification tests.
• Designs job analysis studies, including surveys and focus groups.
• Develops and updates test content specifications.
• Develops and reviews test items for exams.
• Facilitates item and exam development meetings on-site or virtually.
• Conducts statistical analyses of items and evaluates exams post-launch.
• Facilitates standard setting workshops and studies.
