Job summary

aah is seeking a fully remote Credentialing Coordinator to support physician licensing and credentialing processes. The role involves licensing requirements across states, document intake, and coordinating with recruitment, medical staff services, and other teams to ensure timely onboarding in a flexible Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities include overseeing the pre-credentialing workflow, tracking milestones, and maintaining clear communication with clinicians and internal partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Licensing Support: Act as SME on state licensing requirements for physicians and APPs; explain regulations; provide resources and monitor timelines.
• Document Intake & Quality Review: Lead intake and review of clinician documentation; ensure accuracy and readiness for credentialing.
• Pre-Credentialing Process Oversight: Oversee full pre-credentialing workflow; ensure steps are completed in sequence and on schedule.
• Credentialing Coordination: Track milestones and updates; identify risks and escalate as needed to keep timelines.
• Cross Department Collaboration: Partner with recruitment, medical staff services, managed care, and government enrollment teams.
• Process Support & Consistency: Develop standardized forms and tracking tools; suggest improvements.
• Communication & Education: Be main point of contact for clinicians and internal stakeholders; explain timelines and onboarding expectations.
