Job summary

Landpoint is seeking a Licensed Surveyor/Staff Surveyor to join the Operations team. Flexible location with remote options, supporting project coordination, client communication, and survey execution across boundary, topographic, and construction projects.

You will oversee surveys, ensure data accuracy, prepare reports and plats, and collaborate with clients and accounting to support invoicing. Travel may be required to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying or Geomatics required.
• Professional licensure in Louisiana preferred.
• Experience with boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects with clients to define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Serve as primary contact for technical survey-related matters.
• Provide regular updates to clients regarding project progress and deliverables.
• Conduct or oversee boundary, topographic, construction surveys.
• Ensure survey data accuracy and compliance with standards and regulations.
• Prepare survey reports, maps, plats, and related documentation.
• Review survey data, drawings, and deliverables for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records of project information, including field notes, calculations, and correspondence.
• Prepare and review survey reports, legal descriptions, and plats.
• Review project progress and assist in invoicing/documentation.
