Job summary

Diverse Counseling Center is seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to support clients remotely. You will assess needs, tailor interventions, and guide recovery for individuals with diverse mental health challenges.

Based in San Diego, we emphasize culturally responsive care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and HIPAA-compliant record-keeping using an EHR system. Four+ years of experience and a valid LMFT/LPCC/LCSW license are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current state license as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.
• Minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate mental health status and treatment needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide ongoing individual and group therapy sessions to build coping skills.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans based on outcomes.
