Job summary

One Health Counseling Services in Knoxville, Tennessee, seeks a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide culturally sensitive, evidence-based care to a diverse client base in a remote setting.

Responsibilities include assessments, individual/family/group therapy, collaboration with psychiatrists and other clinicians, crisis intervention, client education, and meticulous documentation. Ongoing professional development is encouraged within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution.
• Current Tennessee license (LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW).
• Knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatments.
• Experience delivering inclusive, culturally responsive therapy.
• Crisis intervention skills with a calm demeanor.
• Strong interpersonal skills and rapport-building with diverse clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely, culturally sensitive mental health assessments and tailor treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy in individual, family, and group settings.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other clinicians for integrated care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and resources.
• Maintain confidential, accurate documentation in line with ethics and laws.
• Participate in case conferences and team meetings to refine treatment strategies.
• Stay current with best practices and cultural considerations in therapy.
