Job summary

Veterans Mental and Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to deliver remote therapy to adults nationwide. This full-time role offers the flexibility of working from home and the opportunity to impact veterans and their families.

You will conduct telehealth sessions via our secure platform, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and collaborate with a supportive team. Salary ranges from $115,000–$130,000 per year with benefits.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required.
• Must hold an active and unencumbered license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT. Interns or those needing supervision are not considered.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and care documentation.
• No disciplinary actions on your license are a requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy sessions with pre-screened, stable clients via our online platform, focusing on tailored care according to individual needs.
• Independently manage your schedule while maintaining a steady caseload, ensuring timely follow-ups and continuity of care.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records adhering to HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, build a supportive network, and actively participate in case consultations as needed.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate personal growth and enhance coping strategies among clients.
