Tender Hands Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and culturally competent Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify patients' unique needs and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are customized to align with individual patients' cultural backgrounds and personal experiences.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, promoting mental wellness in a safe and supportive environment.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating calmness and expertise under pressure.
• Guide patients and their families through educational resources about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community support systems.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in alignment with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case conferences, contributing to discussions on best practices and cultural awareness in mental health.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution is required.
