Job summary

Thought Matters, LLC is seeking a devoted Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a fully remote role serving clients from the Fort Myers, Florida area. This full-time position offers flexibility and the opportunity to impact lives through CBT-based care.

You will maintain documentation in our EMR, participate in peer consults, and support structured programs that promote client growth. The role emphasizes work-life balance with no on-call duties and no weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Active and current Florida license (LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW) is mandatory.
• Clinical Master’s or Doctorate degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, with at least one year of full licensure to provide clinical services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based CBT techniques tailored to the needs of adult clients.
• Document client progress and treatment plans through a user-friendly electronic medical record system.
• Participate in regular peer consults and team-based learning initiatives to enhance clinical skills and share best practices.
• Maintain client engagement and empower them through structured programs that foster personal growth and emotional resilience.
• Evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on client feedback and progress to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
