Job summary

Cardinal Behavioral Health Center in Memphis, TN is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time remote basis. You will conduct assessments, create therapy plans, and guide clients through their mental health journeys using evidence-based interventions.

This role emphasizes collaboration with other providers, ongoing documentation in an advanced EHR, and delivering individual and group therapy as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Current Tennessee license (LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW) required.
• Minimum of four years of direct mental health counseling experience.
• Solid knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate mental health needs.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based therapy plans.
• Provide regular therapy sessions using CBT, DBT, and other modalities.
• Monitor progress and maintain thorough EHR documentation.
• Coordinate referrals to psychiatrists and other specialists as needed.
