Job summary

Quail Run Behavioral Health Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee, seeks a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for a full-time, fully remote role with flexible scheduling to support a diverse client population.

You will supervise clinical care, conduct assessments, lead individual and group therapy, document treatment plans, manage crises, and collaborate with primary care teams; a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years in a clinical setting, and current licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMFT/LPC-MHSP or PsyD) are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical setting is essential.
• Current licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC/MHSP, or PsyD is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee the clinical care for a diverse caseload of patients, ensuring adherence to best practice guidelines.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ psychological needs and craft individualized treatment plans that address their unique situations.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based modalities to enhance patient engagement and outcomes.
• Develop and maintain accurate treatment logs and progress reports, documenting conclusions and therapeutic interventions in a timely manner.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills to manage crisis situations effectively, employing strategies that lead to positive resolutions and increased patient safety.
• Empower clients through personalized counseling services, including family therapy, and make referrals to specialized professionals as needed for comprehensive care.
• Engage in ongoing evaluations to monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans according to developing needs and feedback.
• Provide educational resources and supportive programming for both patients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers across disciplines to create an integrated approach to psychological services within the primary care unit.
• Document and record strategy outlines, progress summaries, and revisions, ensuring proper communication of the care structure.
