Ncontracts in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Customer Support Specialist I for Lending Compliance to assist clients using HMDA, CRA, and Fair Lending tools. You will resolve inquiries, document interactions, and ensure regulatory alignment.

This role emphasizes strong client service, cross-functional collaboration with Development and Sales, and ongoing learning about federal and local lending requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software support or a banking/financial institution environment
• Knowledge of mortgage compliance and regulatory environments, including HMDA, CRA, Fair Lending
• High level of proficiency in the installation, use, and troubleshooting of software systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Undergraduate degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-tier customer service for Lending Compliance software products.
• Document all client interactions in Salesforce Help Desk system.
• Maintain knowledge of product usage across operating systems, networks and peripherals.
• Liaise with clients and third-party vendors to determine specifications and document maps/logics.
• Review compliance rulesets to ensure regulatory standards are met.
• Collaborate with Development to ensure proper implementation of policies.
• Review internal reports to verify alignment with regulations.
• Monitor operations across software solutions to ensure compliance.
• Participate in client- or Ncontracts-specific software testing.
• Support Sales, Development, and Training staff as needed.
• Identify trends in client issues and communicate findings to leadership.
• Grow knowledge of lending regulations including HMDA, CRA, Reg C
