Job summary

First Horizon Bank in Knoxville, TN is seeking an HMDA Risk Specialist I to support the Bank’s HMDA compliance program by ensuring accurate collection, analysis, and submission of HMDA data.

You will work with Compliance, Risk, Lending and operations to review loan files, validate information, prepare regulatory reports, and assist audits while continuously training on HMDA and fair lending requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• 0+ years of Banking experience or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and compliance systems/databases.

Responsibilities

• Review loan files for accurate HMDA data reporting.
• Validate and correct HMDA information per regulatory requirements.
• Prepare regulatory reports and submit HMDA LAR accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Lending to resolve HMDA data discrepancies.
• Support audits by gathering documents and responding to inquiries.
• Participate in ongoing HMDA and fair lending compliance training.
