Quarles & Brady is seeking an experienced Research Analyst to support attorneys and business professionals with comprehensive legal and business research from a remote location in CA, AZ, or CO. You will leverage AI-enabled tools, synthesize findings, and deliver clear summaries to requestors.
The role requires 4+ years in law firm research, familiarity with major research platforms, and strong analytical and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher in Library/Information Science or JD.
- 4+ years of law firm research experience.
- Strong knowledge of multiple areas of law.
- Experience researching case law, statutes, regulations, dockets and trial court filings.
- Proficiency with major legal research platforms (Westlaw, Lexis, Bloomberg).
- Experience using AI-enabled research tools and evaluating AI outputs.
Responsibilities
- Independently conducts legal and business research and provides concise summaries.
- Uses AI-enabled research tools and verifies output against authoritative sources.
- Manages research requests and communicates scope, timing, and results.
- Advises on selection and use of research resources.
- Records research requests and billable time per firm guidelines.
- Participates in evaluating new research resources and knowledge sharing.
