Helix is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to act as the operational backbone of the Legal team. You will own systems, workflows, and tools that enable high‑value legal and compliance work, coordinating with finance, procurement, and business leaders in a hybrid remote environment.

You will streamline contracting, templates, and vendor management while tracking key metrics and driving continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years as paralegal or legal-ops role in-house.
• Strong project management with ability to own timelines.
• Experience building or improving legal processes.
• Familiar with SaaS/vendor contracts and playbooks.
• Highly organized with ability to manage many matters.
• Clear communicator with proactive stance.
• Comfortable with hybrid remote startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as central intake point for legal requests and triage.
• Build and optimize legal workflows and playbooks.
• Administer legal tech platforms and AI tools.
• Track metrics and provide leadership visibility.
• Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate vendor agreements and contract renewals.
• Support IP docketing and outside counsel matters.
