Job summary

Axiom is seeking a Legal Operations Specialist to design and implement strategic improvements across client legal departments. This remote role requires deep expertise in legal operations, CLM tools, and AI-enabled solutions to improve workflows, metrics, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with contract lifecycle management, budgeting, and vendor management, and can lead tool implementations from planning through rollout while creating scalable process documentation.

Qualifications

• >8+ years of experience as a legal operations professional optimizing in-house legal workflow including contract, performance, vendor, and financial management.
• >Familiarity with legal department KPIs.
• >Experience managing budgets and spend management (e-billing).
• >CLM implementation experience.
• >AI experience in legal operations.
• >Comfortable with software implementation and integrating new tools.
• >Robust experience with legal operations technology and related software.
• >Experience with Ironclad preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage client's legal operations processes and map new processes.
• Build out processes and design roadmaps for implementation.
• Vet potential CLM tools across Ironclad, Agiloft, ContractPod, Luminance.
• Implement AI tools and drive usage within the legal team.
• Create and maintain resource materials on operational processes.
• Plan and implement improvements to contracting systems and templates.
• Assist with project coordination and process management.
