Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a Remote Contracts & Legal Operations Manager to support a growing legal department. The ideal candidate brings extensive CLM experience, strong privacy and compliance knowledge, and a track record of process improvement across contracting workflows.

You will partner with Legal, Procurement, Privacy, and Information Security teams to optimize contracting processes, implement playbooks and templates, and drive automation initiatives while ensuring risk is managed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, compliance, procurement support, or related field.
• Extensive experience managing full contract lifecycle: drafting, negotiation, execution, administration, governance.
• Strong understanding of contract management principles, legal operations, privacy compliance, and risk management.
• Experience administering or supporting Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation, drafting, review, execution, and administration of a wide range of contracts.
• Develop, implement, and maintain contract templates, playbooks, policies, approval workflows, and tools.
• Administer and optimize the CLM platform and other legal tech solutions.
• Manage contracting processes, reporting, metrics, and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Identify opportunities for automation and operational enhancements across the contract lifecycle.
• Partner with Privacy, Information Security, Procurement, and business stakeholders on vendor onboarding and third‑party risk management.
• Coordinate privacy impact assessments, data protection reviews, and compliance evaluations of vendor relationships.
• Support privacy management processes, intake, tracking, workflow administration, and reporting.
• Identify and assist in resolving contractual issues involving privacy, data protection, information security, and compliance risks.
• Serve as trusted advisor to internal clients on contracting requirements, approvals, and business risks.
• Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Privacy, IS, Clinical, Research, and other teams to implement best practices.
• Develop and deliver training on contract management processes, legal operations tools, privacy requirements, and compliance programs.
• Support adoption of legal tech and compliance platforms through documentation and training.
