Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Legal Operations Engineer to join a leader in Telecommunications & Hardware. This role blends legal operations with software engineering to build tools and automation that streamline the legal function.

Based remotely in the US, you will partner with attorneys, Legal Operations, and business teams to design intake, contract workflows, analytics, and system integrations, turning complex needs into secure, scalable technical solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of professional software development or automation engineering experience.
Strong Python and JavaScript/TypeScript skills with RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and document software tools and automated workflows for the legal department.
Integrate and expand the legal technology stack with enterprise systems and custom tools.
Architect end-to-end technical solutions for legal intake, contract automation, and analytics.
Collaborate with Legal Operations, attorneys, and IT/Finance to translate workflows into software solutions.
Maintain documentation and system architectures to ensure stability and security of internal tools.
