Job summary

Axiom is seeking a Legal Operations Specialist to optimize client legal departments by designing strategic workflows and introducing AI-enabled improvements. You will map processes, build roadmaps, and vet CLM tools such as Ironclad and Agiloft, driving adoption across legal teams.

In this remote role, you will manage budgeting, KPIs, and vendor spend, implement new systems, and create operational materials to support contracting workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a legal operations professional optimizing in-house workflow with contract, performance, vendor, and financial management work.
• Familiarity with legal department KPIs.
• Experience managing budget & spend management such as e-billing experience.
• CLM implementation experience.
• AI experience.
• Comfortable with software implementation and experience implementing new systems and incorporating existing workstreams.
• Robust experience with legal operations technology and related software.
• Experience with CLM tool Ironclad is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage client's legal operations processes and perform new process mapping.
• Build out new processes and design roadmaps for implementation.
• Help clients vet potential CLM tools across Ironclad, Agiloft, ContractPod, Luminance.
• Implement AI tools and increase usage within the legal team / use new AI features of existing tools.
• Create and maintain resource materials on operational processes.
• Plan and implement improvements to contracting systems, including developing and uploading templates.
• Assist with project coordination and process management.
