Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP is seeking a Remote Legal Assistant to support attorneys in bankruptcy, foreclosure, residential real estate and mortgage law. The role is remote with full-time responsibilities, including drafting documents, filing pleadings, and coordinating with courts and clients.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of legal support experience, a high school diploma, and familiarity with multi-state service in a judicial environment.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of legal principles and terminology.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with standard office software and e-filing systems.

Responsibilities

• Process sales and post-sale work for assigned states per firm procedures.
• Draft pleadings, briefs, motions and agreements.
• Electronically file pleadings within strict deadlines and organize high-volume filings.
