Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP is seeking a remote Legal Assistant to support lawyers in bankruptcy, foreclosure, and mortgage law across multiple states.

The role involves drafting documents, filing pleadings, organizing case files, and communicating with clients, courts, and vendors. A year of legal assistant/paralegal experience plus strong communication and organizational skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• At least 1 year experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
• Judicial foreclosure service experience highly preferred.
• Paralegal certificate a plus but not required.
• Strong knowledge of legal terms and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in judicial foreclosure representations.
• Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and agreements.
• Electronically file pleadings within deadlines.
• Prepare correspondence and organize case files.
• Provide timely updates to clients and communicate with courts.
