Aldridge Pite, LLP is a multi-state law firm embracing technology to streamline workflows for clients and partners. The remote Legal Assistant supports lawyers in bankruptcy, foreclosure, real estate or mortgage law with document drafting, e-filing, and client communication.

Requirements include at least 1 year as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal, high school diploma, and the potential for a bachelor’s degree. Remote role with comprehensive benefits and flexible scheduling available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• At least 1 year as Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
• Experience in judicial foreclosure service is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, briefs, motions and agreements.
• File pleadings electronically within deadlines and manage high volume filings.
• Organize case files and prepare correspondence.
• Provide timely responses and updates to clients.
• Coordinate with courts, title vendors and third parties.
• Ensure timely billing at billable events and milestones.
