Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP seeks a Paralegal to support litigation teams in bankruptcy, foreclosure, and mortgage matters. The role involves drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and maintaining case calendars, with emphasis on accuracy and client service.

The position offers remote work options for many roles and a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a legal assistant/paralegal role and a solid knowledge of legal procedures and terminology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
• Paralegal certificate a plus but not required.
• Strong knowledge of legal principles, legal research techniques and legal terminology.
• Good understanding of government regulations.
• Competent with computers and software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong planning, organizing, attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid research, analytical and critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in litigation matters to advance cases toward resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, notices and other court filings for attorney review.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery (RFPs, Interrogatories, Requests for Admission).
• Request and organize documents from clients for discovery.
• Monitor calendars and docket deadlines; coordinate with attorneys on responses and strategy.
• Update case management systems and client files; maintain organized records.
• Prepare tables of authorities and contents; ensure formatting compliance.
• Draft correspondence to borrowers, clerks, judges, and clients for attorney review.
